Trossachs Weekend Retreat

We can’t pour from an empty cup. Taking time to reset and reconnect with ourselves helps us re-align to our purpose and make a positive difference in the world.
Retreats are really important to me. On retreat is where I first found Yoga, and where I have re-found myself over the years. They nourish me and help me stay on purpose. The time and space to step away from the everyday pressures, expectations and busy-ness of the world allows our bodies, minds and nervous systems a chance to discharge some of what’s been building up and to recalibrate. This is precious and why its so important to me to offer really nourishing, transformative retreats.
Working with some of the many tools of Yoga and transformation I have gathered over 20+ years on this path, this retreat will be a chance for you to be yourself away from who the world expects you to be. Its a chance to deepen in to peace and space within. And a chance to be in beautiful nature, being held, fed and nurtured.

Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is for people who are open to Yoga as a means of personal transformation, growth and development. People who are open-minded, honest with themselves and to show up authentically. If you’d like to come on this weekend retreat, there’s a requirement that you attend at least 3 classes with me (online or in person) and/or that you commit to at least 3 x 1:1 sessions. This is to ensure that the way I teach is a good fit for you, so we can all get the absolute most out of the retreat. A cohesive group opens the dynamics of what’s possible for us individually and as a collective. We can go deeper, higher and wider in the practices and shifts because of the field of love and inclusiveness that everyone being onboard creates.
Who is this not for?
This is not for you if you’re looking for a sight-seeing holiday with a yoga workout on the side (there’s nothing wrong with these, but this isn’t that). Neither is it for you if you’re looking to medicate yourself or control your body through yoga as an exercise form. This is not for those who are only interested in yoga as shapes, or aren’t interested in expanding the horizons of their knowledge. Please don’t come if you need to maintain a mask of fakeness or control others to be ok, if swearing offends you, or if you’re looking for a luxury spa break (book one of those instead).
About your host
I’m Rebecca Murray and I’m a Love Activist, Senior Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist in the Krishnamacharya tradition. This means I’ve been trained to develop really effective & powerful practices that are specifically tailored to be make a practical difference. These practices are designed to work subtly and deeply on every level and layer of our beings. For 15+ years I’ve been sharing Yoga’s transformative wisdom to help people become their fullest selves and create positive change. I am also a Reiki master (just means I’m trained to teach it as well as practice it, I’m not claiming to be Yoda) and advanced Theta practitioner (which is a therapeutic tool for working with our unconscious programing), as well as being trained in Shadow Work to help us befriend and work with our shadows, instead of banishing them thereby making them more likely to sneak out sideways!
